Built on practitioner experience, not theory

Holocron Finance is grounded in more than 20 years spent owning the full accounting and finance function of a commercial construction company, from staff accountant through the CFO seat over a two-decade tenure. That's not a consultant's outside view of how a business runs under pressure. It's a practitioner's view, earned from being personally accountable for it.

Over that time, the business moved through a full growth cycle: a period of rapid scale-up, followed by a deliberate right-sizing once the pace outran what actually made sense. Protecting profitability through both stretches was the harder discipline, and the one that still shapes how this business approaches growth today: never as an end in itself, just one path among several, entered deliberately and adjusted just as deliberately when it stops being the right one.

That same discipline carried into cost. A significant reduction in overhead came without giving up operational capability, proof that lean and effective aren't opposites when real financial judgment is behind every decision.

More recently, that finance function was reengineered around modern automation, freeing the team to operate more efficiently and take on higher-value responsibilities. It's hands-on, accountable experience with AI-driven systems, not a theoretical interest in what they might do.

Holocron Finance exists to bring that same experience, the growth, the discipline, and the modern systems, to businesses that need it without standing up a full finance department to get it.
